Feeling burnt out, frustrated, and like you’ve got no time for yourself?

Have a look at our self-care ideas for moms and start treating yourself to a bit of time alone indulging in the things that make you feel great!

1. Take a bath instead of a shower

Run yourself a bath, light your favorite scented candles, put on some relaxing music, and enjoy a nice long bath. Try to ensure that you’ll be alone for at least 30 minutes and forget about your to-do lists.

2. Drink your cup of coffee without your phone nearby

Put your phone on airplane mode and somewhere out of sight, then enjoy a cup of coffee with absolutely zero distractions. Enjoy the taste, the smell, and the time spent enjoying your favorite hot drink - tea works just as well!

3. Watch an episode of a series that makes you laugh

It’s ok to numb out to TV once in a while - sometimes all we need is to relax on the sofa for half an hour focusing on something other than our thoughts, our children, and our housework! Choose a series that makes you laugh and that will boost your energy.

4. Spend 10 minutes outside in the morning

Wake up and get outside! There’s no better way to start the day than by breathing in fresh air from the outdoors. If it’s cold, wrap up warm so that you can relax instead of thinking only about getting back inside. You could drink your morning coffee outside, go for a run, have a stretch - anything that will help you to start the day off in a positive way.

5.Treat yourself to an at-home facial

6. Ask your partner for a massage

7. Commit time every day to reading

Buy or download yourself a couple of nonfiction self-development books to inspire you. Give yourself at least 10 minutes every day to read at a time when it’s easy for you. This could be last thing in the evening or first thing in the morning - especially if you’ve got little ones demanding attention!

8. Get dressed up and style your hair, just because
